Pros and cons of Hacker News (YC) app for iPhone and iPad

Hacker News (YC) app good for

I really like little things, like convenient access to yesterdays best and weeks best. I also love the option to place controls at the bottom of the interface. Great for larger phones.
Very clean and nice. BUT the safari web view wont load any webpage at all on my device, even when I press the refresh button. Might be fixed in a subsequent version? Also, launch time is surprisingly long: when I tap the app button, the iOS dashboard freezes for a solid second before showing a black screen. A little bit of polish on the sides would be welcome! Is it open source?
Super App for my daily hn readings. I would love it if you implement Instapaper support.
Works most of the time and its better than surfing the ycombinator site with safari.
This is my favorite app for checking HN. It has everything I need, is very stable, clean and responsive/fast. Very good job by the developer! Love it!
The design is slick and does the job. The comment view is really great and it is easy to get an overview of the discussion. The scrolling when replying or collapsing comments could be better. The browser defaults to an article view which works most of the time, but the built-in browser for the original page is really ugly.

Some bad moments

First off, tapping directly on a link post shows it in some sort of simplified view, with a lot of the content stripped out. This causes me to have to tap on the link to see the actual webpage. Another issue is that swiping right to get to the post listing can be very difficult, and it can even get stuck.
I keep accidentally opening the pop-up menu or scrolling horizontally and getting stuck. Can you look into this for the next update?
I use this everyday to get caught up. Its a stellar client program. My only annoyance is in the way that the "swipe to go back" gesture is implemented. You have to really, really put a lot of effort into the gesture, or otherwise the view youre trying to swipe away from will just spring back into the foreground.
Allows selecting text in comments (to get a definition, for example). Visible actionable URLs of the original page and its HN post. Well-done convenient way to collapse a comment with its children. Very usable. All the kudos. Used to allow to easily open in Safari original pages and HN posts, including comments (to reply or keep tabs on, for example), but this is broken for a while now. No upvoting or downvoting functionality. Swiping left to navigate back and swiping up to scroll glitch frequently.
Swipe to go back leaves the pane stuck in the middle of the screen. The readability parser fails most of the time. Impossible to get a link out of it to share to a friend (sends you to the online version of the app instead). Touch targets are far too small.
Swipe back to the article list takes a lot of effort to get right.
