All the Hackers News apps look the same from the outside. This one is the one to get.

If you put functionality to compromise your app by begging for 5 star reviews, you get a 1 star rating. This is a horrible dark pattern. If I feel like rating your app, I will do it on my own time. Uninstalled.

Very well thought through, there is an option even for switching to bottom_only navigation for bigger screens : very cool from what feels like a pure programmer app. Has not been behaving that smoothly on ios9 : but I anticipate an update soon

Its as simple as the title says. The articles syndicated by hacker news are they key discussions for anyone in a forward facing IT industry and they are beyond entertaining. HackerNews is truly the DrudgeReport of IT and Science.

Love the app. Well developed and easy to use. As a software engineer it helps me keep up with new stuff out there

I use this app daily to learn and expand my understanding from everything about software development to politics. Its user generated content through a submission and voting process. Give it a shot if youre a developer who is just learning!

What I read in between sets at the gym or when waiting in line for a cappuccino

Im a daily HN reader and have explored a myriad of HN apps on the App Store. I can firmly say that this is the best.

Seriously though, its pretty good.

Was a great app until recently when it started showing full screen ads when first launching which you cant close until completely killing the app and re-opening it.

In recent versions the edge-swipe behavior has changed for the worse, making it very frustrating to use this app on my iPhone 6 Plus. The back button doesnt even work half the time.

Its not perfect, but better than the others. In fact, its actually pretty good. Free. No ads.

Great app! Has everything you need and allows you to log in, which is very rare for free HN apps. I really like this one!

Love everything about this app. The comments are what makes HN and this app organizes them nicely. I know its probably an API thing but it would be nice to be able to post comments from inside the app.
